Overview
This article details the process of raising a TMS request with NMI's Support team.
What is a Terminal Management System (TMS)
Our TMS is seamlessly integrated with our Payment Device SDK products and consistently checks for updates that are automatically installed, which is helpful for large estates of PIN pads. The TMS is controlled entirely by NMI, including the management of all terminal updates, which is why a TMS request is required to enable certain properties/updates.

TMS Requests
General
General TMS Requests should be sent to support@nmi.com with the following information
- Client Name (Name of your Client on our platform when boarded)
- Solution/SDK (i.e. Payment Device SDK for Windows/Linux, Payment Device SDK for iOS/Android)
- Device (i.e. Miura M010, Ingenico iPP350)
- Device Variant (i.e. V3, V4)
- Property/Setting to be changed (i.e. Enable/Disable On-Device Tipping)
- Set against (One of the below):
- Application Identifier
- Client
- Terminal Group
- Terminal ID
Firmware Upgrade
WARNING - Important Information
It is of critical importance that all required information is provided, as applying the incorrect firmware to a device may, in some circumstances, permanently break it, requiring an RMA to repair and return the device to service.
Firmware TMS Requests should be sent to support@nmi.com with the following information.
- Client Name (Name of your Client on our platform when boarded)
- Solution/SDK (i.e. Payment Device SDK for Windows/Linux, Payment Device SDK for iOS/Android)
- SDK Version (i.e. 2.16 Sparks)
- Device (i.e. Miura M010, Ingenico iPP350)
- Device Variant (i.e. V3, V4)
- Current Firmware Version (i.e RAM0980, RBA2102)
- Required Firmware Version (i.e. RAM1814, RBA230Cv3, RBA230Cv4)
- PCI P2PE Device? (Yes/No) What is PCI P2PE?
- Property/Setting to be changed (i.e. Upgrade firmware from X to Y)
- Set against (One of the below):
- Application Identifier
- Client
- Terminal Group
- Terminal ID
*Once a TMS request is processed, you will need to initiate a TMS update in order to download the latest properties.
