This guide outlines the full process and requirements for registering a new user to access the live WebMIS portal. Please read carefully and follow all instructions to avoid delays.
Overview: Submitting a User Registration Request
All user registration forms must be submitted in writing via:
- The NMI website or
- Email to: support@nmi.com
❗Important Eligibility Rules
- Self-registration is not permitted. A user cannot request a WebMIS account for themselves.
- The registration request must be submitted by an existing WebMIS user:
- Who is already linked to the top level of the relevant account.
- Example: All new user requests for subsidiaries of Popcorn Corporation must be submitted by a user linked to Popcorn Corporation at the Distributor level.
Access Levels and Permissions Explained
WebMIS supports hierarchical user access to ensure secure and appropriate visibility across organizations.
Access Levels Overview
Access Level | Description | Example Email | Example Entity |
Terminal | View transactions for one specific terminal only. | cologne@popcorncorp.com | Terminal: Cologne |
Group | View all terminals under a group (e.g., a country or region). | germany@popcorncorp.com | Group: Popcorn (Germany) |
Client | View all groups and terminals under a client account. | europe@popcorncorp.com | Client: Popcorn (Europe) |

Key Rule for Submission Authority
- All user access requests must come from a user linked at the top level of the relevant hierarchy:
- If the account has a Distributor, the request must come from a Distributor-linked user.
- If no Distributor exists, the request must come from a Client-linked user.
- If no qualified users exist, an NMI Account Manager must verify the request.
