Overview
This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to enter the maintenance mode on the Ingenico iSelf for both RAM and RBA variants.
iSelf RAM
- Press & hold the button on the back of the PIN pad.
- The device will flash in the following sequence – release where it is marked *
- Solid blue
- Solid red
- Flashing red * - release here
- The device will display "MAINTENANCE MODE" if it has been commissioned.
- Press the star on the PIN pad to open the "FUNCTIONS" menu.
Note: If the device displays "LTT" you have released the button too early. You may still be able to get into the maintenance mode menu, however, some functions will not work correctly. E.g. You cannot enter PIN to change the devices TCP/IP settings.
iSelf RBA
- Press & hold the button on the back of the PIN pad.
- The device will flash in the following sequence – release where it is marked *
- Solid Red
- Flashing Red * - release here
- The device will display "MAINTENANCE MODE" if it has been commissioned.
- Wait until the device reaches the information screen. This shall appear once "MAINTENANCE MODE" has appeared.
Information screen on the iSelf. - At this screen press GYRYG (Green, Yellow, Red, Yellow, Green) buttons, followed by * to enter the menu screen.
Note: If the device displays "LTT" you have released the button too early. You may still be able to get into the maintenance mode menu, however, some functions will not work correctly. E.g. You cannot enter PIN to change the devices TCP/IP settings.
