*Windows XP does not support TLS 1.2 therefore we recommend upgrading to Windows 7.
Applications that have been written using WinHTTP for SSL connections do not support TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 protocols by default. On Windows 7, it is possible to apply a Microsoft patch to enable support for TLS 1.2. There are a number of ways to apply this patch, for more information please refer to Microsoft's support article. The heading "How to get this update" contains two methods to install the update:

Once the patch has been applied, you must then ensure the registry is updated to enable TLS 1.2. Please refer to the "Easy fix" heading for a quick patch to update your registry:

Please ensure you test your solution against our staging platform to confirm TLS 1.2 has successfully been enabled.
