- Tap to Pay Extension enabled on the merchant account.
- App requires active NMI merchant credentials for login.
Deployment Options
Option 1: Cloud Commerce App (Android & iOS)
A ready-to-use app for Android or iOS, available on the Google Play Store or Apple Store. Ideal for merchants that want a no-code, out-of-the-box solution.

First, Enable the Service in your NMI Portal
- Log in to your Partner Portal.
- Navigate to List Accounts and locate the merchant:
- Scroll through the list, or use the search box to find them by name.
- Click on the merchant's name.
- Scroll down to the Value-added Services section and on the right-hand side, click the Update Services button.
- Set the Status for Tap to Pay to "Active".
- Click Submit to save the changes.
Second, Download the Cloud Commerce App
- Download Cloud Commerce from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Launch the app and enter the unique NMI partner code: CC_8bFEes1a
- Log in using your merchant's NMI Merchant Portal credentials.

- Disable Bluetooth and unplug any peripherals.
How to Check if your Android Phone has NFC:
- Open Settings on your device.
- Go to Connected devices.
- Tap on Connection preferences.
- Look for the NFC option—if it appears, your phone supports NFC.
How to Enable NFC on Android:
- Open Settings.
- Navigate to Connected devices → Connection preferences.
- Tap NFC and toggle Use NFC to “On.”
iOS Details

- iPhone running iOS 17.4 or higher
- NFC-enabled (iPads are not supported)
Enabling Tap to Pay on your iPhone
- Once you log in with your NMI merchant credentials the first time, you will be prompted to accept Apple’s Tap to Pay on iPhone Terms & Conditions.
- You will need to sign in with an active Apple ID when prompted (required to register the device).
Option 2: NMI SDK for Developers (Android & iOS)
NMI’s Tap to Pay SDKs allow software providers to embed contactless payments directly into their own Android or iOS apps—no hardware required. Ideal for ISVs, PayFac-like platforms, and enterprise merchants that want full control over the user experience and branding.

Why can’t I find the Cloud Commerce app in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store?
If the Cloud Commerce app isn’t appearing in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, it may be due to device or regional limitations.
To resolve this:
