Overview
The Landi DUET is an all-in-one, Android-based SmartPOS solution designed exclusively for ISVs and integrators who are integrating with the NMI Payment Device SDK for Android.
This device combines the Landi M20 Android terminal with the ID TECH VP3350 card reader to deliver a powerful, integrated payment experience — complete with support for EMV chip, magstripe, and contactless payments.
The Landi DUET gives ISVs the flexibility to create their own fully integrated SmartPOS solutions using NMI’s SDK tools. It’s a versatile choice for developers who want to build a customized Android POS experience with printer, scanner, and full card-acceptance support.
⚠️ Note: The Landi DUET is only supported for SDK integrations.
It is not compatible with iProcess or Mastercard Cloud Commerce mobile apps.
For those use cases, please use the Landi M20SE instead.
Prerequisites
Before using the Landi DUET, ensure the following:
- The integrator or ISV must be using the NMI Payment Device SDK for Android.
- A supported processor is required:
- Elavon
- First Data Rapid Connect Nashville
- First Data Rapid Connect Nashville North
- NMI Payments
- TSYS
- Vantiv Core Host Capture
- The Tap to Pay extension must be enabled in the merchant's NMI Gateway account.
- Developers should have access to the NMI Developer Portal for SDK documentation and integration setup.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the Landi DUET with iProcess or Cloud Commerce?
No. The Landi DUET is not supported for either app. It is only available for SDK integrations using NMI’s Payment Device SDK for Android. If you are using iProcess or Cloud Commerce, use the Landi M20SE.
What is the difference between the DUET and the M20SE?
The DUET supports chip, contactless, and magstripe payments and includes printer and scanner functionality. The M20SE supports contactless-only payments and does not include a printer or scanner.
How do I charge the DUET?
Connect a USB-C charging cable to the side of the device.
