Overview
NMI's Mass Enablement feature provides you a faster way to manage your Merchant portfolios’ Value-Added Services. With this feature you can quickly offer and update a set of Value-Added Services on multiple merchant accounts. You can update several batches of accounts in a single step to help reduce lengthy duplicate work.
- Value-Added Services are enabled easily in the Partner Portal from the List Accounts page; select Active, Free Trial, Offered, or Not Offered.
- You can identify which Value-Added Services Merchants already have enabled and generate comprehensive reports.
- Quickly enable Free Trials of select Value-Added Services to a group of Merchants.
- Set pricing dynamically for some or all Value-Added Services and issue pre-existing fee plans.
- Filter merchants with custom fee schedules and enter in setup, monthly, and per transaction pricing
- Mass Enable Value-Added Services with an opt-out option for Merchants
Prerequisites
Your sub-user will need the 'Manage merchant accounts' permission to be able to mass enable Value-Added Services to merchants under your portfolio; this also applies to your Sub-Affiliates' sub-users so they can mass enable Value-Added Services for their merchants under their portfolio. Primary users have this permission set by default and it cannot be removed.

If you do not have one of these Value-Added Services added to your portfolio and you would like to have it added to be able to resell it to your merchants, please email support@nmi.com with the service name and your Account ID, which is located at the top right corner when you log in to your Partner Portal.
How do I Mass Enable a Value-Added Service?
- Log in to your Partner Portal → head over to List Accounts → at the top right, click on 'Update Multiple Accounts':
- Select the Value-Added Service from the drop-down that you would like to mass enable to your merchants.
- Once a service has been selected, you will see a list of all your merchants that do not have the selected service enabled along with all your merchants that do have the selected service enabled. The checkbox will be greyed out for merchants that already have the selected service enabled.

Filter Merchants per Fee Schedule - if you have multiple Fee Schedules created, you can filter the merchants per each Fee Schedule by selecting the Fee Schedule from the drop-down:

Filter Merchants per Service - you can filter merchants by which additional service is already Active, Offered, or Not Offered for them, along with whether they have an Active Card Processor and/or an Active Check Processor by clicking on Add Filter → select the service → for VAS check Active, Offered, or Not Offered:
- From the list, select each merchant that you would like to add the service to or check the box at the top to auto-select all the merchants from the list → click on Continue to Pricing.

- You will be shown the pricing for this service that is set on the pre-existing Fee Schedule → once reviewed click on One More Step!
- If you have merchants on Custom Fee Schedules, you will be given the option to set your Resale Price for the service before proceeding to the next step.
- Select the status for the service:
- Active - enrolls the merchant in the service
- Free Trial - allows the merchant to use the service for free for 30 days (for more information please see Free Trials)
- Offered - allows the merchant to sign up for the service themselves in their Merchant Portal under Marketplace Apps.
- Confirm the changes made for your merchants and click on Do It! - this will start the process of adding the service to your selected merchants. Once completed you will see the total updates made and the progress as Done:
Reporting after Mass Enablement
With the ability to filter commission reports by Merchants and Services, you can check how much you have earning from a service before and after you mass enabled it. Head over to Commissions → select the Month → click on Add Filter → select Services → select the service that you would like to see how much was earned from that service for that month.
