Data Import General Information
- We can import customer card data from third parties into the Merchant's Customer Vault. Please note that we do not audit/filter said file and it is the responsibility of the Merchant and or Data Holder to provide us with a complete and accurate file including only the records they wish to have imported.
- Data we receive should be encrypted using our public PGP key (https://secure.nmi.com/merchants/Import-PGP.asc)
- Encrypted data should be sent to support@nmi.com.
- If the exporting third party would prefer to send the data via SFTP, please email us their public PGP key and we can encrypt our SFTP credentials for them to upload the file that way.
Pricing Information
The Merchant will owe their Customer Vault Per Transaction fee for each record imported.
Data Export General Information
- The receiving entity must be Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant with scope to store cardholder information, please provide a copy of their Attestation of Compliance (AoC).
- Please provide the receiving entities' PGP key to encrypt the data.
- We can export Customer Vault Data and Recurring Subscription Data to external parties.
- If you would like us to export a subset of the records in the Customer Vault or Recurring, please provide a CSV with the Vault/Subscription IDs.
- Please provide an email address for the receiving entity (or how we should send them the data). You can provide SFTP information, if applicable, and may use our PGP Key to encrypt the SFTP credentials. (https://secure.nmi.com/merchants/Import-PGP.asc)
- Please note that the minimum amount of records we will export is 25 records.
Pricing Information
The export fee is a non-negotiable $0.50 per record or $500.00 (whichever is higher) for Customer Vault records and/or Recurring Subscription data.
Data Transfer General Information
- We can transfer records from Gateway to Gateway either internally or externally.
- An Internal Data Transfer is when the two Gateways are under the same Parent Affiliate Account.
- An External Data Transfer is when the two Gateways are under different parent affiliate accounts. Please note that for these we will need direct written permission from both affiliates.
- Only Card Holder Data is moved and imported to the Customer Vault (we cannot import to Recurring).
Please Note: the minimum amount of records we will transfer is 25 records.
Pricing Information
- Internal Data Transfer: The importing merchant will owe their Customer Vault Per Transaction fee for each record imported.
- External Data Transfer: The export fee is a non-negotiable $0.50 per record or $500.00 (whichever is higher) for Customer Vault records and/or Recurring Subscription data. In addition, the importing merchant will owe their Customer Vault Per Transaction fee for each record imported.
Note: Once all information is submitted and proper approval is received, please allow up to 5-7 business days for the Data Transfer to be completed by our engineers. We advise that you submit your Data Transfer request at least 7-10 business days before the Merchant needs their data to avoid any delays.
Please contact us at support@nmi.com if you have any questions about the Data Transfer process.
